I will choose about Japan :
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Japanese Diet :
1- Japanese eat small amounts of many foods in each meal. Americans, on the other hand, appear to eat big amounts of the same food in each meal (e.g. pasta).
2- Japanese cooking is very light. They use broths to flavor the food instead of heavy sauces. One of these broths is dashi - it is sold in many gourmet stores or you can make it yourself.
3- Japanese eat rice, instead of bread. Rice is better than cheap bread full of sugar, but not superior to all breads.
4- Japanese eat a heavy breakfast. The breakfast in Japan is a complete meal similar to dinner, along with fish, rice and miso soup.
5- Japanese do enjoy desserts, but not very often and in a smaller amount.
Although to switch to a Japanese diet completely does not sound reasonable for many people, some Japanese dishes and principles are easy to incorporate in our lives and they can help us lose weight and enjoy food. A good book to read.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The type of food they eat:
They mostly eat everyday Sushi, A Rice Bowl, Domburi, Onigiri, Kare Raisu and Kayu in there normal days.
They also eat Ozoni, Sweet Peanut Mochi, Yakitori and Broiled Salmon in holidays and special occasions.

The recipe for 'Sushi Cake' :
It's a round sushi like a cake. You don't need to bake to make sushi cake. You can also use your favorite ingredients and make your own sushi cakes. Be creative and enjoy cooking.
Ingredients:
* 3 1/2 - 4 cups sushi rice
* 1/4 lb smoked salmon
* 2 eggs
* 2 tsp sugar
* 1/2 small cucumber / 1 avocado
* 1/2 cup imitation crab meat
* 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Preparation:
Cook sushi rice. Whisk eggs in a bowl. Add sugar in the egg and stir well. Pour some of the egg mixture into a large frying pan and make thin omelet. Make another thin omelet. Slice the omelet thinly into strips. Slice cucumber into thin strips. Put imitation crab meat in a bowl and mix with mayonnaise. Place plastic wrap on the inside of a round 6-7 inch cake pan. Spread salmon slices on the bottom of the cake pan. Put 1/3 of sushi rice on top of the salmon and flatten the rice. Spread cucumber strips / avocado slices and imitation crab over the rice. Put 1/3 of sushi rice on top of them and flatten the rice. Spread egg strips on top of the rice. (*leave some egg strips for garnishing.) Further, put 1/3 of sushi rice on the egg strips. Cover the rice with plastic wrap and put a weight on the top. After 10 minutes, cover the cake pan with a large plate and turn them over. Remove the cake pan and plastic wrap. Garnish some egg strips on top of the salmon.
